Hi,
yes the rear wheel is a 5.50×17 and in very good order. The bike was a low mileage bike and hadnt been involved in an accident. It was purchased by the previous owner for the engine to replace a blown engine in a race car, and the remainder of the bike was on sold to me for dismantling. The rear wheel with sprocket carrier is available at $150 plus shipping. Freight is probably cheaper than post and should be around $30 depending on where you are in Wellington.

i have a few options available but it depends on your budget. I have a 1989 Suzuki GSX600F engine package available complete with loom electrics and oil coller (engine is oil and air cooled rather than water cooled). Header pipes included as well, although one header pipe will require some repairs. Bike had done high mileage (apprx 100,000km) but engine started and ran very well., and they are a pretty builet proof engine. The complete package is available at $850. Cheers

Im after some electric parts for a jincheng jc 250-6
i am aware that this bike is very hard to come by anywhere in the world, but have been pointer to the honda CB 250 as this has the same firing configuration and engine setup as the jincheng, i have a feeling that the CDI and coil have gone, do you guys have access to any of these parts or know of another bike that has the same setup.

sorry dont think I can help with that one, but shouldnt be too hard to find a piece of rubber house of a similar diameter. Some radiator hoses might do the trick. Try a local car dismantler and see if they have something you could cut down. Cheers

I’m after some short, rear shocks for a Yamaha SR 250 to get it through compliance. It’s been bobbed but i have to have shocks rather than steel struts to pass. The shocks i’m after need to be preferably between 230-250mm eye to eye. ANYTHING that will fit is fine, doesn’t have to be yamaha at all.

I’m looking for some parts for a GSX 1400. It’s 2007, but I doubt these parts differ much from the 2001 model I see you have listed:
1 – Clock covers
2 – Enging timing cover
3 – Headlight lens cover and outer case
4 – Throttle cable rubber (happy to take cables if you can’t split)
5 – Rear break lever
6 – Front mudguard
7 – Right/throttle side mirror
I would also be interested in these bits for the same bike as well if you’ve anything that might fit:
8 – Belly pan
9 – Fork brace
10 – Yoshimura end can

yes its certainly been an ‘interesting’ year in Christchurch and its not over yet! Only yesterday I was shopping in our local supermarket when a strong aftershock hit. Stuff fell off the shelves and kids were crying, but its just another day in Christchurch!
I have recently purchased a large parts lot which contains many parts for the older models, inluding the XS250/400.
